Hey there! Thank you for your interest! It was purchased from a family member on Amazon a couple months ago. They never ended up using it due to some complications. They could not return it so they are trying to recoup some cost.

So it should still have the year basic warranty. When I plug the serial number on Apple, it needs to be linked to an Apple account to activate. I did not do that since I am selling it though
Do you know if this product is eligible to add AppleCare?
Since this is through an individual seller vs. authorized reseller, it's unclear.
Would you take $1400?
Unfortunately, I cannot 100% confirm if this is Apple Care eligible but I am fairly certain it is upon activation
